Ms. Teresa Villegas was nominated by Mayor Eric Garcetti to the City of Los Angeles Board of Public Works in September 2019. She was confirmed by the City Council and currently serves as the Board liaison to the Bureau of Street Services (StreetsLA) and the City Forest Officer.
She has extensive experience working in Sacramento as a registered lobbyist and Legislative Director for the Trust for Public Land. She helped secure funding for many parks, open space projects, and water infrastructure projects.
